Overview:
The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting infants, children,
adolescents and their families across the world. It is changing how they live, learn, play, and socialize. The medical impact of the
pandemic, especially in mental health, has stressed out an already fragile pediatric healthcare system and highlighted deeply rooted
healthcare disparities. It affects us as child psychiatrists trying to navigate current healthcare systems that are struggling to meet the
needs of our patients. Our expert speakers will present new research, education, social media, and clinical impacts of the COVID-19
pandemic, such as fear, stress, isolation, depression and grief as well as resilience, as we work together to heal and help children
and families move forward. |
